Don't forget Tonight Aug 22 the old time baseball game starts at 7pm..until 9 pm.. lots of fun for a great cause!! The game will feature outstanding local high school and college baseball players wearing authentic, historic team uniforms and will raise funds to support life-enhancing programs for The Boston Home residents. Leigh so loved everyone..but especially Paddys guys.. she was thier main Cheerleader for #Paddyssoftball. Love seeing this shot of her and Waxy.. I once asked Waxy how he got his name..was it because you were so smooth..no he said.. it's because my last name was Johnson Ruthie.. like Johnson Wax..lol. it was as simple as that. Waxy is still one of the great athletes of Cambridge!

Today 7-7-34 is the starting of the Paddys legacy..This is the day we opened 90 years ago! Thank you for continuing to come into our little place.. Years of friendships and stories. Serving warm friends and Cold beers! We are grateful for each and every one of you..

Well today is truly the 90th Anniversary of #Paddy

Well today is truly the 90th Anniversary of #Paddys ! In 1934 my Grandmother Maggie Sheahan Fennell with the help of my grandfather Patrick Paddy Fennell got the okay from the city for a license..and then the story begins..here we are 90 years later multiple generations and many stories and friends to show for it. We are the last of the great little Bars if Cambridge.. owned by women.. Maggie, then Peggy, and now myself. I am proud and grateful for the friends and family we are blessed with everyday!
Thank you all for every stop in and hello.. you allow us to continue on! 7-7-34...God Bless.. and as Mom said true friends will always be there.. the others just be greatful they stopped into your lives..oh and say your prayers..lol.
